BIOGRAPHY

During the mid 80´s he becomes part of the band "Hecatombe", which he leads as composer and lead guitar. In the 90´s, after presenting themselves to the Villa de Madrid Festival for several years, they reach the 2nd position in the contest.
Dissatisfied with the results, he withdraws the band to put himself in the map as a solo musician. To achieve it, he decides to educate himself with the best guitar players of that time: Ramiro Martinez, Alberto Martín, Tony Hernando...among others, and study in depth the mysteries of music.
From then on, he cooperates in several recordings with some groups and productions, like "La Señal", "Luna Luna" or "Cierto Sabor". With this group, he participates in 1995 in Telecinco´s TV network program "Mañana serán Estrellas", getting a recognition in Madrid´s night concerts at the end of the 90´s.
Thereafter, he returns to a more energetic rock with the band “X-it”, that counts among its members with David Owain, an English singer – formed in rock and blues – of great prestige in Wales. They produce an EP with four songs which gets a good reception among Madrid´s more rocker critics, and present it in several concerts in the city. Two years later, David Owain withdraws the band, which does not find a substitute that suits its demands.
In 2002 he gets an offer to become part of the band "Filtro Ámbar". They record a demo in which he acts as producer and arranger that has a lot of impact among the world of young Pop-Rock bands, playing in the main concert halls in town.
While working as a recording studio technician, he decides to offer himself as a guitar player. In this occasion he becomes part of the band "Balas Perdidas", where he adopts a more Southern Rock approach. Several years pass with many concerts throughout all Madrid halls, until the group decides to break up in two bands: "MalCamino", a bit more Pop-Rock oriented, in which J.J. Warrior continues his career, and José Villaseñor, much more Southern.
The new band deals with two dense years of concerts and composition work but, after the withdrawal of María Moreno (singer) for personal reasons, the band decides to break up.
In 2008 he gets a proposal to record and produce Web One´s first album, called "Negocio Mortal", with which they obtain the 2008´s Award to the Breakthrough Song of the Year from Los+Mejores. This prize had a lot of impact in the band, leading to many concerts and presentations in several festivals throughout the country. Later on, in 2010, J.J.Warrior receives the order to produce the second album of the band, entitled "Wo", obtaining 2010´s Award  to the Best National Rock Album of the Year from Los+Mejores.
J.J. Warrior is currently working in the attainment of his solo project, balancing it with his work as producer, technician, session musician, composer and music arranger.
